Dr Andreas Rueckert

AndreasR

Post-doctoral Researcher

Andreas has worked with Susie Wood to develop and optimise rapid and sensitive molecular tools to detect and quantify toxic and non-toxic cyanobacteria present at low levels in waterbodies. Andreas specialises in molecular techniques to detect bacterial DNA in a range of difficult situations, such as from deep in lake sediment.
