Dr. David Burger

Post-doctoral Researcher
David's research was focused primarily on sediment-water interactions, external and internal nutrient loading of lakes and modelling of water quality and phytoplankton in lakes and reservoirs. As part of the OBI research, David was applying a coupled hydrodynamics-ecological model to Lake Rotorua to examine nutrient reduction scenarios to assist with providing direction in lake restoration efforts.
David has left the team in August 2006 to work for WL Delft Hydraulics in the Netherlands.
